Growing So Fast

On February 21 Marshall turned six months old. So hard to believe. We went to the doctor's and here's how everything measured out:

Weight: 21 lbs (92 percentile)
Length: 27 3/4 in (90 percentile)
Head: 17 3/8 in (54 percentile)

He is a great big kid; so funny and smiley all the time. We are just having a ball. He doesn't crawl yet, but is quite good at rolling from toy to toy.

He eats like a pig and wants to try everything that you are eating. I went to Sam's Club the other day and bought a hot dog for lunch. I covered it with mustard (the only way I like them) and sat down in the dining area. Marshall was sitting in the shopping cart, he rides like a big kid in the carts, and when he saw my hot dog he nearly fell out of the cart trying to grab it, got a hand FULL of mustard and thankfully I was able to grab his chubby little hand before mustard got onto everything. I let him have a few bites of my dog without mustard, and he loved it. Now that he is allowed to eat "real" food (in small samplings, of course) the grandparents on both sides are having a field day feeding him off of their plates. It's pretty cute.

He is taking after his cousin Bailey; he thinks it is great fun to take a big bite of food and then spit & splatter it out of his mouth and all over me. And he doesn't take me very seriously. I will lower my tone and furrow my brow and say "NO" very sternly and he just laughs! It's very frustrating, but very cute.

I'm glad Bailey's not the only one. So, I think Bailey and Marshall weigh about the same right now. That's crazy!
